Simulation: Psych!c

Just imagine. How easy your life would be if you have a psychic ability. An ability to move an object from a distance without contact. Just like the main character in any kind of movies or comics. You can literally do anything. There will be an infinite possibility for you and the ability. How it would be cool if I had the ability.

I just wanted to see what I would get if I google it. I opened my web browser and typed psychic. I see the definition of it, and several other websites talking about it. I just scrolled through them aimlessly, imagining what psychic can do. Then a website caught my attention.

“Psychic Simulator - Put a Command”

It looks like a website that can simulate a psychic. I recalled several other video games regarding a simulation. I expect the website to be somewhat like a psychic simulator with a structured scenario. I wonder how cliché this website simulator will be. I entered the website with a click. A storyline was shown in a few sentences with a short and simple animation. The website had a pretty higher quality than my expectation.

You are a 20 year old grownup man. You live by yourself away from your parents. Not many friends in contact, with no job.

One day, you were watching TV, lying on your couch. God shows up on you and God says “You are gifted. Good luck with it.”

Now the future is at your fingertips.

A short animation ends. After the reading a few sentence of story,

Okay. A very common man as a playable character, I guess. Now what do I do? I’m in my house. Do they give multiple choices what to do?

And a blank command window appeared in the center of my screen.

Enter a name.

Hmm. Let me think. I speedily typed ‘Power O. Wellming.’ Awesome. Now what do I do?

Put a command.

A command? What kind of command am I supposed to put? I took a second to think about the first thing I would do as a psychic. How about conquering the world?

Conquer the world.

Invalid command. Type /help to get example commands.

/help

Example: Take a walk for an hour. Pick a fight with an old man. Try to lift a chair. Push the ground. Call 911.

Then I could see what I did wrong. This simulator only accepts simple and specific commands. Conquering the world is too complicated for this simulator to process. So my character, Over, is at his house. I wanted to see what is outside of the house.

Step outside.

Power stepped outside of the house. It is almost sunset. There are not many neighbors outside. Your neighbor, Bill, says hello.

Say hello back to Bill

Power says hello back to Bill friendly. Bill continues to walk into his house.

I wanted things to get hyped a bit now. A violent nature from the depth of my mind came out.

Put Bill back to the doorstep with ability.
